An ode to femininity, Anna Hints‘ documentary experience is more than captivating. Liberating the bodies and words of women of all ages and morphologies, in a context of intimacy and sisterly trust, has enabled her to construct an original and personal form, an aesthetic that highlights the bodily presence and life story of each member of this private club, outside the dictates of the filmmaker. In front of Anna Hints’ camera, without the usual modalities of distance, the protagonists come to life, talking about their traumas, sharing moments of pain and joy.
