A film by Fabio Grassadonia , Antonio Piazza

With: Elio Germano, Toni Servillo, Daniela Marra, Barbora Bobuľová, Fausto Russo Alesi, Giuseppe Tantillo, Antonia Truppo, Tommaso Ragno, Betti Pedrazzi, Filippo Luna

A feature film that is loosely based on a specific period in the life of Matteo Messina Denaro. Set in the 90s and tracks the tragic and farcical mystery of his prolonged absence; a world where risks and existential crises never yield the expected results.

The umpteenth Mafia film, which does nothing to renew the genre, adds nothing and entertains little. Without much interest, apart from a few well-spoken lines here and there, and, it should be noted, a desire to intellectualize the traditional police quest against the all-powerful godfather rather than emphasizing the violence.
